Next in the "upper puppers" series is Hilary Swank and her nearly two year old Jack Russell/Corgi mix, named Karoo. Karoo is a stray that Hilary fell in love with while shooting the movie Red Dust on the Eastern Cape of Africa...the desert town of Karoo which is South African for 'countryside'. Smitten by the dog, Hilary made arrangements to bring her back to America. “I found Karoo while on location. She was totally flea-ridden, starving, ticks in her ears, the whole thing! So I brought her back with me." Now Hilary is very rarely seen without Karoo. She takes her best friend to fashion shoots and film sets. Karoo even has a scene in Million Dollar Baby.
Here is what I would dress this lovely duo in for a long walk on a cold rainy day.
