call me crazy

For Christmas, a friend of mine gave me a subscription to Harper's Bazaar. I'm not sure this was a good thing, in that every month now I stand outside at my mailbox...glazed over eyes...cup of coffee in my hands...whimpering mono-syllabic nonsense until my postal carrier delivers the latest issue.

..."how did I ever live without it"...she mumbles vacantly...stroking the latest issue as if it were a Nancy Gonzales Croc Clutch..."

Anyhoo...I'm going to do something wild, crazy and a total waste of time by entering the Harper's Bazaar Personal Style contest...

"...for a chance to win a $10,000 shopping spree at Saks Fifth Avenue."

[Translation: $10,000 may seem like a lot of money, but in all actuality at Saks...it amounts of one purse and a pack of gum.]
