Yea for Nordstrom! Always a class act.
"Nordstrom is taking a distinctly civilized approach to the post-Thanksgiving sales frenzy. In contrast to retailers like Walmart and Target, who have pushed back their holiday sales to Thursday evening amid protest from employees, Nordstrom is putting the Friday back into Black Friday. "We're celebrating one holiday at a time," reads a caption on the store's Facebook page along with a photo of a poster in Nordstrom's door:

'We won't be decking our halls until Friday, Nov. 23. Why? We just like the idea of celebrating one holiday at a time. Our stores will be closed on Thursday for Thanksgiving festivities. On Friday, our doors will open to ring in the new season with style.'"
