As many of you know, this blog is (in part) my way of fleshing out my fantasy of being a stylist. So in the event that any of the 'Best Actress Nominees' for the 2012 Academy Awards happen to be needing some fashion advice...and of course, turning to me for my opinion...

Listen up people, if Jessica Simpson can be the mentor on NBC's new TV series "Fashion Star"...then Meryl Streep asking my fashion advice is really not that much of a stretch.

Sorry for being in such a snit. My husband made me eat a filet-o-fish sandwich tonight for supper and I've been in a fowl mood every since. My mouth tastes like poo. Blech!
Anyway...here are my dress picks for the Academy's Best Actress nominees. Anyone have a breath mint?
I think Michelle's style is rather refreshing. She tends to be classic and tasteful with a nod toward vintage. I would especially love to see her in the gown by Blugirl (below), but the neckline is probably too revealing for her.
I think Rooney Mara could wear just about anything...with her model looks and body. She has worn alot of black cut-out gowns lately on the red carpet...it would be nice to see her in something different.
Have you ever been watching a show like American Idol and you find your stomach in knots because you don't have any confidence that the person singing is going to hit the 'big note' at the end? Yea...that's kind of how I feel whenever I know Glenn is headed for the red carpet. Here's hoping that she makes a great choice this time around.
This woman is g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s. Her skin is perfection. She should wear a metallic gold gown to match the Oscar she's going to be carrying around. =)
Oh Meryl...Meryl...Meryl...sigh. You're such a acting phenom, but such a fashion mess. I love you to pieces, but get it together woman!
