I was chatting it up the other day with one of my co-workers who was wearing a pair of screaming stillettos. I say 'screaming' because they were really cool, but mostly because that's what I would be doing if I even attempted to put them on. It's sad really. I mean, I used to wear cool, fun, sexy shoes. But somewhere between chiropractic visits and hitting 50, I went from couture to comfort faster than a bee stung monkey. If you ever see me in a pair of those orthopod clodhoppers with the vent holes on the top...just shoot me.
Anyway...all that rambling to say, I found this blog article, "
The 35 Best Shoes From The European Shows." Personally I think it should read, "Fast Track Your Way To Knee Surgery In 35 Easy Trips Or Less"...but even I have to admit that their headline is considerably more appealing.
Enjoy looking...here are a few of my picks from the article:
DOLCE & GABANNA
CHRISTIAN DIOR
(this shoe was described as 'vertiginous'. huh? And who said that fashion wasn't educational.) |
HAKAAN
(finally...a shoe and a meat tenderizer all in one) |
ALEXANDER MCQUEEN
