This past week, Refinery 29 posted a slide show of some city hall weddings, I think in New York, although the location I'm not certain of. Anyway, it's getting alot of internet buzz and rightly so. The photographer, Winnie Au, snapped candids of some 14 couples who were getting married on the same day at city hall. I wanted to share some of the pics with you because I feel like the wedding industry has gotten way out of hand. It is so glutted with bloated prices and expectation, and just about every wedding I go to falls prey to the same 'ol same 'ol with little or no creativity that express the uniqueness of the couple getting married...and all with a ridiculous price tag to boot.
