So, I've been tooling through page after page of the Fall 2013 runway shows. New York was last week and now UK designers are taking their turn. I have to say that fashion, like Modern Art, is one of those things that I either have a huge appreciation for, or I just don't get. For example, Central Saint Martins...one of the premier fashion universities in the world...delivering the likes of Alexander McQueen and Alice Temperley. These designer freshman are supposedly our fashion future... to which I say, "oy vey to infinity". Okay...go ahead and be crazy experimental, but eventually, if you want to make any money, you have to design for the everyday woman...and I am one of them...and no way I'm wearing any of it.
(anyone ready for a rousing chorus of "I'm Every Woman"???...anyone...anyone...Bueller?)
