so you think this has nothing to do with you

...classic...

So, this is kind of where I find myself after browsing through countless pictures of the 2013 Fall RTW runway shows. From New York to London to Milan...me in my lumpy blue sweater and pajama pants looking at some of this 'stuff' and wondering how in cerulean blue blazes it ever filters down to where I live. Here are a few examples. If anyone has a moment of clarity about any of this, please do drop me a line. I'd love to know how this is going to translate to my closet besides some inspiration for Halloween.

flamenco dancer and a Catholic nun have in common.

This is what you get when you stay up too late eating Kung Pao Chicken and
watching the Matrix marathon on cable. (Designer Gareth Pugh)

The collaboration between Oshkosh and the San Diego Zoo seemed like a
good idea at the time. (Designer Jeremy Scott)

Oh the things you can do with a garbage bag and a dorsel fin. (Designer Rick Owens)

Margot was disappointed to find out that the Don Quixote festival had been cancelled due to a windmill shortage. (Fashion Fringe)
