fashion...really?

It's time for some fashion sarcasm.

...oh c'mon...it'll be fun...

(insert the sound of profuse sighs and rolling eyes)

...just amuse me, okay...sometimes I think I'm funny. So here we go...

Thankyou Balenciaga for answering the burning question, what does a
flamenco dancer and a Catholic nun have in common.

This is what you get when you stay up too late eating Kung Pao Chicken and
watching the Matrix marathon on cable. (Designer Gareth Pugh)

The collaboration between Oshkosh and the San Diego Zoo seemed like a
good idea at the time. (Designer Jeremy Scott)

Oh the things you can do with a garbage bag and a dorsel fin. (Designer Rick Owens)

Margot was disappointed to find out that the Don Quixote festival had been cancelled due to a windmill shortage. (Fashion Fringe)

someone has been sniffing way too much fabric glue...

...oh my...after perusing hundreds of pictures from New York Fashion Week, I just had to share some of the looks that brought a smile to my face...and an ache to my side from countless moments of laughing so hard I couldn't catch my breath. If any of you have insight into why these designers are given a nod by the fashion world, I would love to know.

From Jeremy Scott...I affectionately call this show "The Ponderosa On Crack". Little Joe may have only had one outfit to wear, but I bet he's thankin' his lucky stars that it wasn't one of these. RIP Michael Landon.

I'm thinkin' this shot isn't going in his modeling portfolio.
"I got spurs that jingle jangle jingle...as I go riding merrily along..."
Thom Browne's show...all I can say is, "Dude, quit with the wacky weed already."

Finally...something I can actually wear to the office.

This is going to make for a tough bathroom break.
And Marc Jacobs...it's about time someone came up with a use for used Saran Wrap. Remember ladies, do not try this at home. This is for professionals only.

And after all that nonsense, a few things that I loved.
