The weekend after Thanksgiving always brings a huge antique show to our area. All my regular gal pals that I normally treasure hunt with were out of town for the holiday, so I sweet talked my husband into accompanying me this past Sunday. The one thing that I was on the hunt for, of which I really didn't find, was junk jewelry...you know, pieces and parts of broken necklaces and earrings...the stuff that you find abandoned in the corners or every drawer in your house. The thing I did find however, was alot of artists, doing what I want to do, which is to repurpose these forgotten baubles into new beautiful statement pieces of jewelry.
