So...by now, many of you probably know that I don't really get the fashion butt kissing that has been going on since Michelle Obama hit the Whitehouse. I just don't get it. Granted, she has been coiffed and plucked and waxed to within an inch of her life...which is to be expected. But this on and on about how fashion forward she is and blah blah blah is in my opinion, a big pile of hooey. For example, the Marchesa blue gown she wore this week for the state dinner.
The first picture is the original gown from Marchesa's 2012 resort collection. The middle picture is the first lady in a modified version of said gown. And third is a gown you can purchase from David's Bridal for $198.
Questions anyone?
