I could almost predict that whatever I just donated to the Salvation Army, becomes the latest fashion trend. Not that I'm all that, but just that I have incredibly bad timing. It inevitably happens whenever I purge my closet. I have an uncanny knack of throwing out the Dooney & Bourke purse and keeping the Liz Claiborne satchel. sigh. Always the bridesmaid and never the bride I suppose. The reason for my chagrin is that I've been hearing more buzz about the resurgence of vintage D&B handbags. Most recently, stylespotter.com showed them trending at the Brooklyn Flea Market in NYC.

Well, not too worry. If you want to get in on the ground floor, I checked eBay and depending on condition, they are going for $15 to $65. The two below are in decent shape and priced at $30.
If you don't want to go the 'pre-owned' route, both D&B and Coach are re-introducing these vintage styles back into their lineup.
