lost in translation

Thank goodness the 2012 Ryder Cup is over. sheesh! I about died from boredom after 3 days of my husband watching the entire thing...I'm not kidding...the e-n-t-i-r-e yawnfest. I thought I would lose my mind.

Anyway...I guess the one thing I did get out of an entire weekend of golf droning through my house was watching the daily parade of egregious golf wear...designed by Ralph Lauren...again.

Seriously?

I mean, I love Ralph Lauren and all, but after the whole Olympics debacle...could we not find another American fashion designer that can coordinate red-white and blue fabrics? It's not like it's super difficult. Pants, shirt, cap...maybe a belt?

...sigh...

Personally...I think they lost the tournament because they looked so heinous. I know, I know...that seems a bit harsh, but after you see the fashion sketches translated into real people clothing...I think you'll jump on my bandwagon.

And for all you naysayers out there...NO, I'm not being vindictive because I was subjected to 3 days of interminable golf...

...well maybe a little bitter, but certainly not vindictive.

Note the "USA" belt buckle...now there's some groundbreaking fashion.

Furyk has the right idea. The best thing to do in these window pane pants
is take a crap.

I guess Furyk and Mickelson weren't big fans of the "USA" belt either.
Horizontal stripes...need I say more?

Lost in translation, Miss Bea
