project runway challenge 5

Last nights challenge on Project Runway was, I thought, very creative and out-of-the-box. Make a dress out of newspaper print. Some of the designers however seemed to consider it 'beneath them' and kept referring to it as a craft project. Maybe they do that because they're intimidated by it...not sure. I remember the paper dresses of the 1960's. Wow. Now that dates me big time. I never had one, but I remember seeing them at the local drug store. The same place that I bought my first frost blue eye shadow. Ahh...memories.

So...here is my entry. I went into Adobe Illustrator and created a pattern out of comic strips. That is the pattern you'll see on the dress.
