OPI Ohio

If you're like me, you have at least one shade of OPI nail polish in your beauty arsenal. My favorite of favorite colors is California Raspberry...kind of a pinkish red with just a slight subtle shimmer to it. I can't stop staring at my toes whenever I wear it. Anyway, OPI is known to be one of the most popular brands of nail polish on the planet...with clever color stories and amusing shade names like "The OPI Hong Kong Collection", with shades like "The Bling Dynasty" and "A Good Man-darin Is Hard To Find". Their most recent collection, "Texas" started me thinking, "Hey...what's so great about Texas??? For heavens sake people, the armadillo is their state animal and for $150 you can become a licensed dead animal hauler."

...really OPI...Texas??? [big sigh...]

So maybe the folks at OPI have never been to Ohio, let alone the US midwest. Then again, maybe they have and that's why they chose Texas. hmmmm...whatever the case, I think it's about time they paid a little attention to the Buckeye state. After all, we have nails too.

drumroll please...

For kicks and giggles, the "OPI Ohio Collection" by Miss Bea Heyvin. [PS...thanks to all who contributed ideas for color names!]
